used to have over 1000 (350 in an mx5, 650-700 if driven very carefully in a mk2 mondeo diesel)

since consolidating the fleet down to a 944, I think i've just about got 500 miles :S

Would have to check, but roughly got 3/4 tank the 8 series, 1/4 in the porsche, 1/2 in the cerb, 1/3 in the M6, 3/4 in the Legacy and the fuel guage in the Range Rover does not work, So no idea how much is in there. Oh and the last person to borrow the truck gave it back with a full tank of derv.

Think we will be ok for a while hehe

70 litre tank as standard on the defender 110 plus a 40 litre auxiliary tank on one side.

If I fitted a second auxiliary tank on the other side that would give me a capacity of 150 litres

At 28mpg average that works out at about 924 miles before I need to fill up.

Of course I can fit plenty of jerry cans in the back as well.

EDIT: add another 400 miles to that if you include the celsior

I've got 50 miles left in my tank which will last me until approximately Tuesday depending what I do on the weekend. I might take a few reconnaissance missions as I drive past the station to see if there is a queue.

6 litres in the VX. Enough to get home from work (30 miles) but then I'm relying on there being some V-Power or Tesco Momentum available in Baldock tomorrow.

I've got anywhere between 25 and 100 miles left, the gauge is swinging between the top of the red and a little over 1/4.

I wish the fuel gauge worked a bit better.

Assuming there's 100 miles in it that should be good for another couple of weeks

Just under half a tank in the Zed. Which at under 20mpg at the moment (the weather has been nice for hooning smile) doesn't look too good.

Hopefully will be able to get some of Shell's finest in the tank tonight

8,800 litres in Tank 1

2,200 litres in Tank 2

Used by 2 cars mainly so 5500 litres per car

5500 x 0.219969157 = 1210 gallons

1210 x 23 mpg = 27,826 miles

unless this strike lasts a couple of years I should be ok laugh

I'm guessing at about 1300-1400 miles.

100 litres in the 4x4 - reckon good for 500
60 litres in Golf TDi - good for 500
55 litres in Citroen - good for 300/400 depending on how driven

I dunno, maybe two hundred miles if I take it easy. Which I won't.

You can see how bothered I am hehe
McSam, I like the cut of your Jib. Got a 1/4 tank left so will probably just about make it to Tesco this lunch time, not going to bother filling up though. My trip to Enfield next thursday could be slightly delayed.

Spread among 4 cars and assuming driving for max economy about 950 miles but would be nearly 1600 if all brimmed.

Not feeling the panic just yet....

A bit under half a tank, so 100-125 miles.

By my calculations, about 50 miles shy of my round trip to the Sunday Service frown
Told my dad he's not allowed to mow the lawn and the jerry can for the mower is coming with me smile

about 100 miles in the Mondeo, about 150 in the CLK.

If push comes to shove, I've 30000 litres of red I could make use of.

I'll be fine, probably got a range of around 800 miles and can work from home if the world ends so thankfully "My Livelihood" isn't at risk.

Looking forward to a jaunt to the seaside over the North York Moors at the weekend, with all the drama I'm hoping the roads will be relatively clear of traffic smile

When I get the MX5 back from the garage im good for about 500 miles 350 in the Audi and the rest in the mx5 before ive got to fill up. How long that will last could be a month if it needs to be I can get the train most places and walk to buy food.
