No you don't. What you have is 372 per month leaving your bank account.
Before a year is up, thats 4000 pounds.
Can I ask, do you work or study? Any plans on travelling?
I currently study, £372/month or £4000/year at 20 years of age doesn't seem like a lot really? I spend around half that a month right now at 14 years old. Before a year is up, thats 4000 pounds.

I'm in Uni turning 21 next month, and I don't spend that much. Barely have time to spend money right now with the workload.
I very, very rarely go to parties, gigs or anything like that; the only thing I can think of that I spend money on is parts for my 'fleet' but I don't spend all my money on that and I'm not sure what I spend the rest on really.
I have tried saving up but it has proven nigh on impossible, as soon as I have money come in I find myself spending it in the next 24-48 hours.

Good on the kid, we need more like him.
Onto more related matters.. Z3M Coupe, i see the same one roughly once a month and I'm immediately onto the classifieds... they are just something else!
I've been obsessing about toothpaste.

Obviously it has to have the interior of my dreams.

Nice, very nice.
I'd be on that like a shot if I needed a car.
I could decorate my garage like a toothpaste box and then put the Volvo in it and then when I took it out it would be like toothpaste coming out. Decorating the drive like a toothbrush would add to the effect.I'd be on that like a shot if I needed a car.
What is wrong with me?
I would very much like an S60 R with the orange interior and that blue.

Sounds perfectly normal to me.
That would be a great car.
Sometime I regret my current job and my weekend car in a way. They stop me experimenting and just getting cars because I hadn't had one.
Makes sense in my head.

That kind of makes sense, I think.
I regret getting a fast bad MPG hot hatch thing, not good at all for rush hour traffic.

I had a go in one of those last week. Seriously rapid car. Certainly a few years ago nobody would have batted an eyelid if they'd given it an RS badge.
The only thing I wasn't sold on was the torque steer - the greasy conditions and bumpy roads probably didn't help, but it was a real bicep builder.
I'm delighted to hear it's rapid but disappointed to read about the torque steer. Maybe I'll have a steer in time and still enjoy it but I prefer my torque steer kept to a minimum. I know they didn't fit a RevoKnuckle but I thought they'd worked well to tame it. The only thing I wasn't sold on was the torque steer - the greasy conditions and bumpy roads probably didn't help, but it was a real bicep builder.
Mind you... I can't stop looking at this:
Let me give you an impression of how much I'm surprised by today's car-crush. My first car was a Mk 1 Megane 1.4e and it had few redeeming features. It was poorly built, poorly designed- changing a battery took an hour and a half in the rain because everything was in an awkward place- and every month or so, I'd have to spend another £200 on something. 'Orrible car. Bloody nearly killed me when the steering failed on the M5. (Not to other PH'ers: Do not try turning to face the wrong way in Lane 3 of a motorway. It's not a pleasant view... Lots of bent metal but fortunately no bent people.)
So as you can imagine, I've not been keen on Renault since. This car has had to win over a lot of prejudice from me but it's close to doing so. This Megane is different. As James May would put it, it gives me the "fizz".
Still can't afford one for a long time, so it's a pipe dream for a couple of years at least.
