I have a Caddy obsession today...

Wilfully different to a sea of M3/M4's and decent with it.
Not that I could afford any of them but it's nice to wistfully dream. smile

We'll gloss over the diesel BLS I used to own. Good commuter car though that was, it's the antithesis of this stuff.

^ They're never going to get cheaper, y'know. If you want a Z3, find the means to buy one before they accumulate value.

That is lovely! I really do like the e38, it's perfectly proportioned and relatively small compared to modern stuff.

I want a new Mustang. I mean I really really want one. I think they look great and when I see a GT drive past, a little bit of wee comes out.

The problem is that I've just turned 26 and it's a bit out of reach. I need them to dive in price over the next two years.

I got a quote on a GT from Aviva at £1400 which I thought was pretty reasonable. I pay £900 on my 530d!

Good advice, and spot on.

I 'almost' hated them when they first launched, these days I see a certain charm in them. beb is right, they're only going one way (and mostly to the old, purist, gits that hated on them when they first arrived!).

A Fiat 133 I was offered last year. Now my Cinquecento project has hit another wall. I'm thinking a race ready shell with the ZZR1100 engine I have in my shed could be fun.

The V8 Mustang is a blunt tool. Raw, stupid and utterly amazing fun.
It's like a big lump hammer, not a delicate scalpel.
I've hired them in the states and the sheer daftness made me very happy indeed. Each journey was a blast of giggling hooliganism constrained only by my wife getting grumpy in the passenger seat. Oh and the noise is glorious!

If you can stretch to one you really should. I imagine they won't hold money particularly well, living near Aberdeen the roads are full of S Audis and M BMWs whereas the Mustang is still a relatively rare sight.

Think they might have been, certainly remember chatting to a few Irish owners there. Some of the Ford guys were too IIRC, including one of the RS200s

This is somewhat mental thing I could do my shopping in;

Can't be too hard to get a Q plate, door locks and hit 30mph.
