This, for quite a while now. Every time I see one I think 'that looks lovely' and reckon I'd get on very well with one. The fact that they are different from the norm helps a lot.

^ me too about the IS300h. If they made an estate that wasn't an SUV, I'd have one. Sadly, automotive fashion doesn't agree with me.

There are a few of these on Autotrader at the moment and they're causing internal conflict!

I like these myself, when I wanted rid of the merc it was a toss up between a red cloverleaf GT or a black 159Ti (both with the 1.9JTDm engine).

What are you smoking ?

Meanwhile, this, but with a nought removed from the asking price.

An Alpina B3 3.3 Coupé that recently sold for £15995 (ono):

39,000 miles on the clock and apparently nurtured. Looks like a bargain for whoever the lucky buyer was.

Unusual and lovely colour, in my opinion.
That’s just lovely, and all the better for not having the awful Alpina 1970’s-throwback decals cloud9

Pontiac Trans Am WS6. Big, dumb, V8 fun...perfect for the summer. Maybe with a ragtop?

Have these shot up in value over the past few years, or have they always been this pricey?! (This is one of the 'cheap' ones)

Sadly I don’t have the £50k or so to buy one so I'll hopefully be buying a regular M3 and adding a few CSL bits to it.

I kept an eye on these over the years and they have always been pretty (not hugely) expensive due to rarity and the V8. I was seriously considering one before TVRs drew my attention away. There were some parts issues starting to appear - the steering rack was unique or hard to source I seem to remember. I'm sure the owners club have sorted all that out by now though.

I'm obsessing at the moment about open top motoring. So right now I'm heading out to the car.

One or two come up for sale every now and then for a reasonable price. I miss mine, I also miss my X308 XJR frown
