Nothing especially scary on the MOT history. Not many miles in the past few years either.

I saw these two this morning on a visit to Migliore to check up on the progress on my Maser Biturbo...

However, today's 'obsession' is the 308GT4 that was lurking inside the workshop, I adore these cars and would have one in an instant if funds allowed...

Well it's a small world and no mistake! It's a lovely example, I'd have gladly driven it home today. How long did you own it, what was it like to drive...?

Had it for about 3 years, from 2005. Loved it, they feel like a big go kart to drive. Bought a 328gts after, double the price but certainly not double the car. Should have kept the gt4.

I’m sure everyone who drives it will love it. I can’t describe it, but it is more than the sum of its parts. You just start smiling when you drive it. Some great groups on Facebook too.

My mum's next door neighbour has had this in the garage since the mid 1980s. I remember being taken out in it regularly, but the first time was the best. I was ten, and it blew my mind. And we were followed home by a police car.

This very car is the reason I'm a petrolhead.

Thanks for the reply Dino - pretty much every published review or youtube clip on the GT4 I've ever seen praises the handling and fun aspect of driving them, I'd love to try one. The looks are still anathema to some people but I've always admired the styling, inside and out. These and the 246GT are by far my favourites from Ferrari.

A few more pics from yesterday...

Some lovely Ferraris there - I know I’d be disappointed in the drive but I still want a 308 GTS

Anyway, current obsession is an orange NSX, just not sure where that’s come from…

Otherwise, sensible obsession is a Gen F2 HSV Clubsport wagon. It’s the same size as my current VF2 Holden wagon, which already has around 405bhp, but the Clubbie adds a supercharger, 150bhp and lots of other goodies.

Also anything that’s not white, silver or black seems to attract some sort of premium. Anyway, example…

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2016-hold...

It is unfortunately also about another AU$50k on top of the likely sale price of the current car. Not sure I can Man Maths this one…

Why not? Already plenty of miles so no real value to trash. Parts might be an issue if things wear out but that’s the only thing that counts against it.

A lot of money for ‘an old Honda Accord’ though right?

This particular DBS V8.

Here at the Hatch Beauchamp Classic Car show in 1998-9.

The fine lady is my then girlfriend (now wife).

It’s marked as untaxed since 2002, it was local to me.
I’m sure it’s in a barn or garage within about 10 miles of my house & I day dream about finding it, buying it, restoring it & using it as much as possible as if it was a ‘new’ car.

Top of the tree Accord though, would be interesting to find out what parts are only available from Japan. I use the same train of thought with my Crown, Lexus underneath so servicing a doddle - anything else is more of a challenge, but that's enough for me to keep it.
