Cheers mate

When the work was carried out, they said it'd be the 'Cayenne Magnum' kit, which looks similar, however I wasn't, and to some degree, still am not a fan of the tinted lights either. (At 30, it doesn't look right I suppose)

I was going to get a set of standard lights, but the car itself is up for sale now anyway.

EDIT: Beaten to it Dave, a mate had posted this on my FB some months back ...

Not a massive fan of the Cayenne personally, however each to their own. D1 is a fantastic plate though. thumbup

did someone mention the south of France in a cool classic?
Oh you absolute censored was that really necessary? cloud9

I might be in touch at some point biggrin Hopefully taking a driving holiday from Nice to Zurich in the summer.I'm really not sure what the best routes are in places, I don't want to miss out on anything but I also don't want it to take four weeks smile Planning to stop once on the way down, and then stay the following night near Nice, next night perhaps in Parc des Ecrins, then heading up to up to Lake Maggiore for a few days, and to Zurich via the St Bernardino.

Perhaps I should stay in Provence instead scratchchin

presumably saw the link on my profile:

I've been hooning round here since we arrived 9 years ago so can give you a few pointers. The route up to Lake Maggiore via the Col De Tenda is fantastic.

Someone stuck in italy with a love of hot rods.

So did what he could with the materials and got someone to convert a v12 ferrari into what you see before you... engine, gearbox, most of the running gear and suspension.

google ferrari torpedo for more details as its all a little vague and scattered everywhere.

Can you really make a business out of covering cars in white sticky backed plastic then? Cayenne were pig ugly when they came from the factory so making them worse takes real commitment to the cause.

So this is why 'decently modified cars' hasn't popped up in 'My Stuff' for a while

ETA: I don't like to insult other peoples cars but what in the fk was whoever designed that front bumper on the chayenne thinking?

Please stop quoting with the pictures of the Cayenne!!

Decently modified - a Vanquish with the famously bad paddle-shift gearbox replaced with (converted to?) a manual: lick

This car was built by one of my favourite Hot Rod shops, Moal Coachbuilders. Steve Moal along with his sons and Jimmy the mad Irish panel beater have built some amazing cars that combine the streetrod look along with a European Coachbuilder style. You can check out a few more details on their site here.

And here is their latest Ferrari powered beast:

Nope! It may not look great, but hopefully I won't be owning it for much longer.
