Yeah the tyres look a bit naff. Looks too low as well, like its trying too hard to be cool.
Agree on tyres, only looks a tiny bit lower than an original one though. Overdone, would sooner have this one :

Pretty sure it was posted before after this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU4bIsdnbkM 09:10 biggrin
Love it! biggrin

The guy in that videos face tells you everything. Not the fastest, not the best handling. But clearly puts a big grin on your face!
That's absolutely spanking. Gives me dirty thoughts about doing the same to either a Honda Beat or Suzuki Cappucino. A Kei car with 650kg weight, dump the boring engine and drop in a VFR engine instead (V4 noise ftw). Absolute ear porn, +70% power.

A Cappucino Hayabusa turbo would still be good though smilehttps://engineswapdepot.com/?p=8903

The car may have been in the thread (or vol.1) before.

Amazing, but way, way too much power imho.

With the VFR800 engine you'd have a shade over 150hp/ton, 12kRPM red line and a beautiful engine noise to go with it. It's a shame the MX5 is so lardy, because it'd make a great swap for that too, it's just a bit heavy...

Not a fan of that BMW at all, the sides look too high and slab-sided, the windscreen looks too short in comparison
I suspect it would look a bit less ungainly in coupé form, but that rear end it awful.

Completely agree, it would be a pint sized S2000 and a lot more driveable than over 300bhp.

Alternatively the Fiat 0.9 Turbo has 105bhp in production format so I'm sure it could be nicely tuned to a bit more. Not sure if they are any smaller than the Ford 1.0 Turbo though or if either could be squeezed in with ample lube.

All the time, money & effort that has gone into that car, and he goes and films it with the steering wheel wonky as fk.

Teeth. Itching.

You are not alone.

On December 18th last year I posted on the "what car are you obsessing about " thread:

with the engine from one of these

It's a lot of money, but I don't actually think it's been badly modified. Actually I quite like it for track work, seems to have everything fitted that you'd need.

Edit - I thought you'd posted in the other thread, clearly you agree with me that's it's been done well.

Looks good, don't like the Subaru colour scheme or where the arches meet the rear bumper (the black strip from continue imo) but the rest of it looks like it's done to a high standard.

£13500

500bhp

Looks a bit poo but seems to be well modified. Maybe for your wife to do the school run if she is always late. Is it a 6 seater mpv type Honda civic?

It’s a JDM only car, we didn’t get it in the U.K.

Lovely conversion and great power, don’t know if they’ll ever get £13.5k for it though!
