Shame that the TMIC means you have to keep the scoop. I’d probably go with a hidden FMIC and a normal bonnet.
That’d be a great toy!

Top is a render. But cool idea.

This is also a Render. But I love it, and I'm not generally a fan of VW buses

Just hope it's got a nice flat 6 in there to replace the 4?

As the render uses a 917 chassis one would hope they kept the flat 12 for any prototype..

I've really started to hanker after a Brat - my mate had the Tamiya radio controlled model back in the late 80's

Also I read that great story on here about PHer that bought one from miles away and a group of other PHers did a 'pass the parcel' to drive it up to him.

Not a fan of the wheels - but I think the rest is bang-on 'dream pick-up' material. Interior looks great too.

My bad, I thought it was still an imaginary VW chassis.

These older cars are all the same. Shiny wheels and suspension that looks too low.

I think the Tamiya one is likely to cost you less in the long run biggrin

Still available btw

I did wonder if you could use one of the Kraftwerk "917 recreation" cars as a chassis and just plop a VW bus shell on top

Should also lower the CoG significantly! biggrin

There was a white Brat I used to see at Castle Combe that looked ace and had an Impreza drivetrain.

You know how sometimes (but rarely) things just look perfect and totally stunning.. yet when I look at these I wonder how much of the beauty was intentional, functional, accidental or has just came with age? (and a few modifications on this one obviously)

Lol, look again, I was joking about the iron construction seen in the background.
