Love this. Would need to do something with the interior.
That is awesome.

As mentioned above the B-reg is a bit of an odd-ball, registered as a 'Ford Escort' in 2002... but it sounds like its essentially an 5200

Be interested to see what / if it actually sells for here, thats got to be the best way to own a classic Ford Escort - the MOT history is exemplary too (no worries about rust either!)
What is 'an' 5200?

Think he means S2000 as that’s the car which comes up when you look up the plate.

Nice to see an older Golf that hasn’t been stanced, slammed or otherwise messed about with.

Very nice, but does it count as modified?

Subtly modded. Plus who knows what’s lurking under the bonnet?

Funny because the car clearly has been lowered by 50+mm with 3inch wider rims its jus been done so well that it looks almost factory.
Exactly how they should be.

Question: Are side exiting exhausts legal in the UK?
I think they are fine, as long as they arn't hanging out side of the wheelbase / footprint (ie: Caterham / Westfield / Cobra)
I had one on a Sierra Cosworth - I believe the rules were that the exhaust doesn't protrude outside the "footprint" (as above) and had to be behind the "centre" of the car. It got checked a couple of times but that was always the least of my problems with the Police during those times hehe
The Mercedes SLR has got side-pipes just behind the front wheels...
Ah yes that's true Iroc - forgot about that one. Maybe a road homologation thing, or a rules change (my Cossie was >20 years ago...)?

Take your point, but I’m sure you know what I meant smile

my M3 Touring replica here in New Zealand.
Perfectly modded imho. Though maybe a bit
much for some.

Perfection in my eyes! Versatility and performance in one!

Anymore details? Did you build it yourself?

Its perfect, BMW should have made one. I would prefer a different colour but then silver is nice & subtle not to stand out too much until they hear it blast past.

There is a red one with a BMW V12 in the States too. I stumbled across a YouTube video of it somewhere.

I wonder what the legality of this is.. Reading the advert is is essentially a Honda S2000 with an MKII Escort body grafted on top.. so would surely have needed an IVA test?

ETA: It looks looks lovely and I would imagine goes quite well too..
