Retropower's take on the XJC. Altered rear arches, no vinyl roof, 17" wheels, LS3 V8.

Yep..... that will do nicely! Love what they have done to the interior and the front too!https://retropower.co.uk/2019/02/04/jaguar-xjc430-...
Spitfire engine start button, forsooth! Only thing I don't like are the front grilles.

That Merc is cool AF. Although agree with comments about those rear lights. Are those standard wheels? Or have they been modified?
Rear lights - they split opinion, but I prefer them after much photoshop comparisons and debates in my head.. Removal of the orange makes it look cleaner, in my view. But - beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that. Wheels are modified: one-off split 18" rims built from an 16" ARC Alurad original. wanted something original-ish, but not too bling, and not the more obvious AMG-look.
Since the photo, have sorted out the front headlight wipers that kept me awake at night, had the seats all restored- and awaiting a trimmers to be available to do the headlining. and then - full engine refresh is probably well overdue. Chain doesnt rattle, but - 140k miles, so it's probably best i just get it done...

you make fair points. Some filthy windows-down action here:
It's garage mate is a 1993 NSX (a car that does *not* look good modified, at all, in my view). The pop up headlights are up basically from 3pm onwards. Even in July.
Love that…………. Apart fromIt's garage mate is a 1993 NSX (a car that does *not* look good modified, at all, in my view). The pop up headlights are up basically from 3pm onwards. Even in July.
The rear lights. Apart from that it’s great

Is it on air? Or is that the ride height at all times?
On air. Normal ride height is a little lower than the static spring approach people take to lower them.... and it rides better on air than it did on springs (doesn't actually ride a well as stock - as much smaller profile tyres now, but - that's modifying cars for you..). I'd be lying if i didn't also have it on air because it is cool dropping air out of it in carparks. Pointless, but funny.

I normally quite like the clear indicators. Certainly looks better on the front ones. Wheels are modified: one-off split 18" rims built from an 16" ARC Alurad original. wanted something original-ish, but not too bling, and not the more obvious AMG-look.

Any more plans for the car?
I just noticed the number plate too. Nice touch.
