This is it! Exactly how a 911 should be. Anything more or less is less. Superb!

If there were 110 starters, why do we hardly see anyone else on the track? (OK, I did not watch all of it, so maybe there was a big bunch in a part that I skipped!) (But this is a 'serious' question!)
Becuase the Nordschlief is 22 kms long (IIRC).

I saw this car at the 2010 Nurburgring Old Timer Grand Prix and it does look absolutely beutiful. I think Chris Harris is just looking for an excuse to buy it. Buy it Chris your only this way once!

Nice tidbit about a cool car, but god that paint job is ugly...

Epic, just epic.

The thought of doing one wet lap in an old 911 without traction control terrifies me let alone 2 bloody hours!

is Chris adjusting the brake balance maybe?

2hr stint..respect to that, in that car, on the Ring and in the rain

BUT

if you want to see a classic 911 hooned, look no further than this, in a 65 swb car...think the driver is an ex rally driver

prob the best in car action I have ever seen. ps I know it ended it tears but still...some good skids

Brilliant video / car / drive.

Nobody over took???

Chris, you spent a long time on overrun / trailing throttle - was that the wet conditions or just Porsche tail sliding avoidance? Similar tactics used by me on trackdays in the Alpine GTA turbo....

Long stretch to the gears 1 /3 /5th?

No need for that post. Whatever transpires behind PH is business whether this be true or not. Why ruin a damned good article? Maybe if the owner was known he genuinely wanted to find the price for the owner? That is just passion for cars which after all is why we are here is it not?

Enjoyed reading that. Don't feed the trolls.

Why anybody would wish to spend 165K euros on any car other than that is beyond me. I love new cars but they just come across with such little character, I'd much rather open up the garage door to this on those sunny early sunday mornings...

The essential info that is missing is the chassis number, should be a 9111300NNN ?.The price seems quite reasonable when you consider the price for parts for a '71S, the Bosch fuel pump for MFI cars is about 1000 euros, don't even think about the cost of the titanium conrods or the titanium driveshafts ( essential to make it a true 'new'ST).

What is the 5th instrument in place of the clock ??
The spare tyre seems to be an alloy spacesaver, modified ?
Lots more detail would be nice.

Random googling 911ST brought me here; this is so good it deserves a bump.
