190 440 ! purrs like a kitten and growls like a tiger on boost wink

I'm a massive saab nut and I seen this advertised on uksaabs ( where I usually stalk smile ) didn't pay what was advertised on here though !

its a mighty fine example and I look forward to giving it some tlc and maybe a saabflight td04 next year wink

I agree with a lot of the comments, it is an old car and will need some money spending on it, but what else really compares ?

my 9-5 embarrass many " performance " cars on track days and the 9000 track car is just an animal, especially weighing in at only 1.1t

I love the saying from another saab nut, " never underestimate an old saab" smile

Well, it's been 10 years since the last post on this car (and several owners since) but P109 WGT (or, as it was affectionately known on UKS as 'Widget') is still going strong!

Mileage now only 205k but had a lot spent on it in the intervening years including:

Significant rust removal
Full respray
Engine rebuild (was apparently running at around 400 bhp at one point...possibly one of the reasons it went pop!)
Gearbox rebuild
Full Koni suspension
SAS anti-roll bars
Full Abbott exhaust and intake
And lots more.

I've only owned it for a couple of months and thoroughly enjoying it! I'm in the process of adding an Abbott lightened flywheel but don't intend to carry out any more mods as I don't think it needs it. Conservative estimates put it at around the 290 bhp mark at present and it's plenty enough!

Nice to see a clean Scabby Green wink 9000 Aero still on the road.

I bet my old Scabby Green 9000 Aero is long gone now, even though it was a low miles minter, when I sold it back in 2004.
