598k miles. Guess they were getting in early and selling ahead of all the big bills that come at 600k.

(Seriously, it looks like 6k, never mind 60k).

Not a typo, either.

Makes me happy to own a 70k miles v70 d5 mines the same year too.

I do wonder if in can keep it going that long?

I only do around 14k a year but will i be priced off the road in years to come thanks to EVs becoming mainstream and the government's war on the internal combustion engine....

To be honest that looks very well cared for. Wouldn't surprise me if it gets clocked.

My 2004 V70 D5 feels fresh at 118k miles. Hope to double that at least. Not seeing £2k of value in a 600k miler. Cool story but thats a 600 quid car imho.

Love the advert saying "history-making mileage potential" laugh

Might try that next time I've got a high miler to move on!

I had one of those Volvos a few years ago at 220k miles. A T5.

The engine was still perfect, the rest of the car was completely shagged. I’m amazed the first gearbox made it to 400k. I’m astounded someone replaced one in a 400k Volvo.

The gearboxes weak? or just neglected alot?

I'm thinking of getting mine flushed and serviced specialist quoted a reasonable £80 to do so.

They're a bit poor. Earlier Geartronic ones are. After around 2007 they got much better. I'm surprised this one lasted 400,000 miles really. But with mostly motorway driving it must've had an easy life. I'm sure a flush can't do any harm. Ensure the right fluid is used though, they're notoriously picky with fluids.

Not bad for 4 years old (also 89 pics in an A/T ad must be some sort of record....)
