Registered Feb '18, so that's 307,000 km in 30 months; that 200 miles per day, every day, non stop including weekends, bank holidays, Christmas and New Years Day for 2 and a half years in a bi-turbo petrol V8...

W12 Phaeton, fastidious owner as evidenced by both the description and the clean MOT history in recent years. 234,000, £11,990.

Slightly chancing it, in my view. Surely, this is worth £6k at most.
Very dated looking huge money pit of a barge.
A liability on any forecourt.
£2K private sale.
Don't put yourself down like that.

Now, what do you think of this Phaeton?

Looks incredibly tidy-the driver’s seat looks like it’s done 1/10th of the mileage. Impressive!

I'm intrigued what this will have been used for, it can't be a single persons commute, because if you take off weekends and some holiday it's 300 miles a day, and even with German Autobahns I doubt they do better much better than 4 hours a day.

As a taxi / limo, I can't see why they would pick the AMG over a proper luxury non-AMG S-class.

If someone has run it as a private hire vehicle, well done on the driver for making the numbers work in something fun.

Yes. Or multiple. The C level execs in the family-run form my mum works at are not all out and using a driver at the same time, so they have one posh car and driver to share between them.

Each exec does a combo of driver, air and train, but the driver and the s class are out everyday, clocking up mega miles with one of the execs on board.

My company's former CEO didn't drive. He had a chauffeur driven S63 that shifted him between Frankfurt, Zurich (home) and Luxembourg every week. Mileage soon racks up.

Now, now. My Renault Megane I paid £4k from them is an absolute beaut. 104k on a 64 plate about 18 months ago, full Lex Leasing printout. It's on 175k now and owes me nothing.

Appreciate I might have been lucky, but they sell cheap cars for a reason. Not all are iffy.

Yea I know what you mean, the £53000 + they were fined last year for six breaches of deception must have just been a misunderstanding....hehe

We had a couple of the latest shape 2019 Audi A1’s come back this week from a company. One has done just over 100k and genuinely looks like 10k inside and out.

200 miles a day, every day of the week for 3 and a half years solid! That's good going! Wonder if anyone will take a punt on it ?

I'd spend the extra £3k and get this one. At 230k you're committing to either keeping it forever or taking a bath on it financially

I once went there to view 2x BMW M5s they had. Despite the logbooks saying their owners lived in Scotland and Surrey, the stamos in the service book were both from BMW Reading!!!

Quite a coincidence, I thought.

I understand the company founder once did some jail time for clocking cars at his previous garage. Im sure everything is fine now though.
