200 miles a day, every day of the week for 3 and a half years solid! That's good going! Wonder if anyone will take a punt on it ?
Brilliant, only 3 years old aswell! Why are high mileage cars cool in some way, always thought this.200 miles a day, every day of the week for 3 and a half years solid! That's good going! Wonder if anyone will take a punt on it ?
I would give this a go definitely if I was in the market, along as FSH adds up and condition is all there, why not - looks honest enough to be sitting on that mileage, better than one that's been clocked.
Wouldn't pay that for it though, would need to be a fair bit haggled off for me....£8k maybe.

That's lunacy levels of mileage! Whoever looked after that at Mercedes certainly saw it regularly enough. I wonder how many sets of brakes, tyres, and in this case, clutches it's had.
This one is currently in Slovakia, and seems highly priced. EUR 17,000 seems a lot for 1.2 million clicks.

We had a couple of the latest shape 2019 Audi A1’s come back this week from a company. One has done just over 100k and genuinely looks like 10k inside and out.
with lock down, just how ? 100k in two years... 136 miles every day for two years ?
Only 2 hours a day of being on the motorway.

THIS 2017 Jag XJ Autobiography is up for £21,995 - and has 167,000 miles.
Couple of alarms are going off - the wheels are wrong for that trim level, but obviously can be changed - but also the car had its first MoT at about 50k, then nothing for 2 years, now has 167k on it...
Also Auto Trader thinks it’s £6k overpriced. Their algorithm may be slightly askew, but it’s definitely not worth £22k IMO[url]

Bloody hell 1.2mkm!!!! That’s epic.
I wonder if I have been in that one. Used to travel to German a fair amount, 2017-2019, and airport taxi company always used these for groups of us.
Should add the drivers weren’t gentle.
About 500 miles per day - probably fairly typical for something like a long distance airport taxi for example?I wonder if I have been in that one. Used to travel to German a fair amount, 2017-2019, and airport taxi company always used these for groups of us.

Looks in impressive condition though.

We used to use an executive taxi company in Brum. All Mercedes e class, often drivers take cars home as well, 150k miles after 18 months but they only kept them for 2 years max. One diver told me longest driving he had done in a day was Brum to Exeter and back then Brum to Heathrow and back x 2. Nearly 800 miles in a day but in a nice car not a van. Looks in impressive condition though.

Place I used to work used a similar firm for airport transfers, again E classes just doing airport runs all day/night for businesses and nothing else. One of their drivers told me they had them for 300k and after that (!) they were transferred to a subsidiary that did the vomit comet private hire circuit around town.
All these high mileage diesel taxis are one thing, but imagine doing 250,000km in 5 years in this...

How about a Volvo V70R on 236,500 miles. Not too odd, but the way it racked up the miles was. Used as an airport taxi...

Having once owned a later V70 T6, I would imagine 236,000 miles to be purgatory...https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-V70R-2003-MANUAL-...
