Discovery 3 on 202k. That in itself would be of note given their reputation, but this being the 4.4 V8 is even better.

All those miles, in a multiple-ton brick powered by a thumping V8. What a basket case they must be - I like them enormously already.

Cloth seats in an X5. No thanks. All the police cars have cloth seats for some reason. I guess it keeps costs down.

I love an L322 as much as anyone - but more than a brave pill required here I think. laugh

Nah it "drives as new!", It'll be fine
'Drives like new' is possibly the only thing that annoys me more than 'done 200k but drives like it's only done 60k'.
I’m selling one shortly. A 2006 tdv8 on 200k with the 2010+ Autobiography facelift, Kahn seats, rusty arches and no service history which was taken as payment of a debt. Expecting to get around £4K for it still as they seem to hold their price at the bottom end really well despite being a utter shed.

The worst bit is it drives as well as my 06 79k mile one with FSH. They take the miles brilliantly, had several over 200k now and quite often are better than the 100k mile examples as things like suspension arms are only a 25k mile lifespan so constantly replaced anyway. Airbags are generally blown due to old rubber around this age so mileage doesn’t effect that either.

A mere 370k miles.

Okay it’s a taxi but for anyone with electrical knowledge worth a punt.

520d with 323k km (200k miles) in 2.5 years. Given you should have been staying at home for a year of that....

€25k feels a bit strong

Damn, if this is a fleet car then thats incredible! Assuming a normal 9-5, 8 hour workday for 256 days a year, that car has a stops included average of around 40mph!

Just an off topic observation on the Astra, it has gas struts on the bonnet. My 2017 Astra has a stick to hold the bonnet up, way to cheap out Vauxhall.

My last few cars have had gas struts but I have to occasionally do a weekly vehicle check on the pool car at work and I always nearly get decapitated because I forget to prop the bonnet up.

When I had my Ka I was topping up the screenwash (the hole is right by the windscreen) and an unexpected gust of wind blew the bonnet holding stick off (I’m sure it has a proper name) resulting in the bonnet landing on me, that really bloody hurt I can tell you.

Slow as a week in the jail too that 1.3 in an Astra.

Some dealers are going absolutely mental with pricing at the moment

Decently stout miles on this E320 CDI at 250k, but it seems to be wearing them fairly well all things considered.

It's not even difficult to change the dash in a C4 back into imperial units since it can be done through the radio. There are a few things to infer here, one of which is that it was never test driven. I imagine that could sit for a while due to the 'mileage,' allowing a savvy customer to potentially rinse the dealer for another couple of hundred off.

I know not technically cars, but two of the highest mileage I've ever seen and surely deserving on a place in this thread:

2005 with 7.7m kms

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154354353859

And 2002 with nearly 4.4m km:

There should be a point in the display as that would mean an average speed of more than 30mph for every hour of its life since new.

Yep, these show tenths of a KM too, so they have done 770k and 440k. Still high though.

And they have done all of that on the roads of Fife, where officially the rustiest cars in the U.K. come from

My experience of our work sprinters that didn’t live in anything like the conditions of NE Scotland was that they rusted for fun

Even the advert alludes to
It
