I really don't get why some people on this forum are MASSIVE bellends.

I don't think I've read one constructive comment as to why this car is bad. Imagine the person was right in front of you, you wouldn't say these things to their face in the way you have on here so why bother at all?

Anyways, nice car dude, nice to see something different and rare about. I like the fact that you got off your arse and did a 4EFTE conversion, I definitely wouldn't have charge cooled it though as that's even more weight to add to a car with sooo much glass! You could have just got a smaller AC radiator as the radiators for these (if it's the same as a GT Turbo) are way too big, especially for our climate, then put a small front mount on.

Do you have any other plans for it, or are you happy with the way it is?

+1 that is exactly my thoughts and what I was meaning. Only I didn't manage to portray it as eloquently. hehe

I had one of these as my first car, loved it to bits. caused a car accident from a driver rear ending another car while staring at my car when I opened the door! Coolest thing ever when you're 18.

eabockers.com????

I'm confused - can someone explain...

Why not try using google, I did, turns out it was a revampt'd version of a website about some form of extremely difficult looking 'stunt' style jumping type thing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powerbocking That is bocking. The EU part is self explanatory.

I gave this 10/10, mainly because its a very interesting car and the guy who wrote it doesnt feel the need to slag off X, Y and Z in his article whilst singing the praises of German X, Y or Z. Despite his car not being anything at all like any of the cars he was slagging off or praising.

Just noticed the competing watermarks on some of the pictures... smile Just need a 'brazzers' logo to finish it off.

Extremely rare and very cool. Anyone else see some new VW Scirocco in the front of it?
Front lights did remind me of a Scirroco.

Thank you for all the comments, i know its not going to be a ferrari beater but i enjoy owning the car and i love hearing other sides to the story, i'll try to answer as much as possible, the ea bockers is the group im in, we do shows and things on jumping stilts its my little way of staying young.

The car was charge cooled just so the AC could be kept and keep all the original looks of the car otherwise it would mean a TMIC or a FMIC this means new bumper or new bonnet, and everyone loves looking at my charge cooler wink

I thought it was worth writing in and seeing what other people who aren't on Sera forums thought, and it also means people who would not have heard of the car get to learn something new, im not here trying to win everyone over, its all about the cars on this site smile

these cars always make me smile! reason being there was a guy who lived near me who had one and he insisted telling everyone who asked, that is was a 3 litre 4wd turbo. Made me laugh everytime I saw him driving it. Why bullst? Its a funky little car not a sports car!

There were a few of them running around in Oz...I have a photo somewhere of my SVX parked behind one (the windows are the same layout).

Come to think of it, so are the McF1's, EB110 etc.

A twin turbo Subaru SVX with a manual gearbox and with SERA type doors.....you can keep your Veyron's :-)
There is one of those running around in the US - it's a tempting prospect to build one!

Gents, it's called opinion. Some like, some don't......

Let's not get too carried away when we all don't like the same thing, it just drags out a pointless argument smile

Front windscreens are stock items - £ 160 or so. Toyota can supply, usually within 48 hours otherwise could be a fortnight from japan.

The rear screen is another matter. I think thats been discontinued.

Other interesting Sera facts.

Body pressings were pressed using half a press tool and water pressure rather than being stamped using two halves of a mould.

The Sera was used for the Sol Gallop Japanese police series - a version of Power Rangers.

I think the rear screen held some record for being the biggest frameless window in Japan or something similar!

The Sera was one of the first production cars to use projector headlamps. (was there something earlier?)

if they'd updated the AE86 platform and based this on that, i'd imagine that would have been quite a car. as it stands though, definitely very quirky and interesting.

Interesting car, I've always like these.

Yeah, it's based on a run of the mill hatch, but so what, most cars on our roads are run of the mill hatches. Doesn't make them crap. Not every car has to have great handling or a powerful engine.
