You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense.

If fuel's an issue don't even think about an m3. To get the performance out you need to run high up. You'll just end up resenting it.
I ran an E46 M3 when my friend was running a 2005 Focus ST. He always did much worse on fuel than me.

My ST and e36 323 auto are similarly bad on fuel. I really love the ST. It sounds great, has very comfortable seats (which are too high, but...), and is all round nice to drive. However it's very obviously fwd which does make me enjoy the 323 again afterwards. if I could have the engine and seats in the BMW that would be just great!

Something doesnt seem right there. If i bimble about i get mid 20s, if i'm frugal i can clip 30. If i drive for performance and use the full engine range it drops around the twenty mark. What do STs do?

Depends where you read, but most threads and data suggest real world mpg for ST's is 22-24, with plenty of people getting regular 19 and only 30mpg tops on a run if very careful.

My ST gets around 21mpg around town with many many hills & lights. Mine only has a Dreamscience re-map for now.

That's pretty poor mpg really considering the power and performance.

Is the RS much/any worse on fuel? I'm sure unread not much! For that power the fuel consumption of the ST would be alright!

The RS and ST are hardly any different on fuel. The noise alone is worth it!

It's utterly bizarre considering I get 30+mpg quite easily out of my S40 T5, even in just general trundling about. Granted Ford managed to liberate an extra 5-10bhp out of the engine in its Focus incarnation, but that's a massive drop in economy for a relatively small power hike.

It may be that the STs get driven that bit more enthusiastically, of course...
