it's actually pretty different from a 4 door 700 series if you see them together, the boot and bonnet are lower, all the ABC pillars are different, front n rear different
He interior is also a little more stylish than the 700/900. Such a shame they weren't RHD. We'd have had one back in the day. Seek said:

Production figures show no models were ever officially released in the UK, and although 416 were exported to Japan (the only RHD country to receive them), they remained in LHD format.

Here's another spotted in Italy.
I saw it in the same city a few years ago but pic I caught was terrible and never used it here.
So .a one off ,or some weird coach built thing or .....?
Looks like something Franco Sbarro would dream up.

Only 3 (or possibly 5) were made. It's a G-Wagen underneath.
Saw a Ferrari I didn't recognise this morning, noted the reg number and looked it up. 500 Superfast apparently. 36 ever made? This was being driven up a local motorway at about 70, and it was in good nick but filthy dirty. Looked for all the world like a daily driver. Having googled values for what must be an incredibly rare car it seems they can sell for 1.5-3m dollars. And this one's just tearing up the motorway without a care in the world. I'd be terrified.

Could anyone other than Ferrari name a car the Superfast with a straight face? GravelBen said:

I suspect it's because I am old, rather than I am the only person on PH who has an interest in cars, but it saddens me that so many of these cars were 'previously unheard of' by PHers.
It's he same on the F1 threads; quite a few whose knowledge only goes as far back as the Schumacher yearsGassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
