The Lada Riva was based on the Fiat 124, and the Polski Fiat 125p (later FSO 125) was based on the Fiat 125. 2 different cars. The Fiat 125 was the predecessor to the 132, and featured twin cam engines & some luxury. But by the time Polski Fiat finished their redevelopment of it, the 125p was crude and underpowered. It's a shame really, as all people remember of the 125 was the later inferior efforts. Same with the 124 saloon - everyone knows it as a Lada these days.
I assume the 125 pictured above is sitting in a museum somewhere. I believe they only built one prototype, which didn't get the nod into serial production.
"Based on" is the right description! laugh

When I had just reached my teenage years in 1972 my Dad bought a proper Fiat 125 - like this!

Twin-cam engine and 4 wheel disc brakes, which was unusual in the early 70s!

I got to take it over in 1977, but only because Dad had a massive stroke in 1975 and was never able to stand up unaided, let alone walk, after that.

It's not a Lodgy, it's likely to be or based on, the Dacia Dokker.

Dacia Logan 1
Lodgy is an MPV, Dokker is a more van-like version of the same

Hell yeh! Bond bugs were awesome - I just about remember the end of their popularity. It’s amazing how they were cool.. but the ‘plastic pig’ was a thing of ridicule.

...Six big blokes could turn a Pig round in a pub carpark space... if you thought it was a funny thing to do.
You wouldn't think Bond Bugs were awesome if you had been a passenger in one in the snow, in the Dark, and at the highest point on the M62!
It clearly was...you're alive!

Indonesia too - for when an Alphard doesn’t say ‘get out of my way peasants’ loudly enough

(In much of Asia, for practical purposes, Alphards have become the chauffeur driven vehicle of choice, displacing MB S Class. Much better as a rolling office for the traffic jams)

Slightly more prosaic, it's the Jiffy pick up, a Mini-based kit car.

I followed a Tuscani Elisa the other day. I thought it looked a bit like a Hyundai Couple from the rear, and it turns out there's a reason for that...

Was the couple available as a V6 in the UK though?

Mythical Velar.

Parked in a Disabled Space, obviously.
So you knew it existed but had never seen one?

And you're assuming all disabled people can't drive the Velar?
I was assuming they wouldn't be able to afford one. Having seen the driver get in, he clearly wasn't disabled.

That is probably the second one I have seen.
