Thanks for that rolleyes another lardy arsed POS that will be stuck up my rear bumper until we get to a corner. laugh

Pick-ups aren't exactly known for their ultimate performance either - both my cars have 250 kph limiters, but I don't think that will be an issue for the pick-ups. They are just another mobile chicane, however Barbaric they might be. banghead

Just get out of the F*cking way please!
America is full of them, see the tundras all the time while there. The engine isn’t for top speed more effortless power when laden/towing.

They are fantastically useful vehicles to own. People on here always talk about cars for tip runs etc. That is where a pickup does that while also towing a trailer and carrying quads/bikes/lawnmowers/whatever else you want to transport.

Pickups are great... go to Colorado, literally every other car is a pickup/4x4.

Big fan of the FJ cruiser

Amazing.

The mind set of 'I could do a pickup... so I'll build one from donor parts!'

I loved the kitcar scene - now I can't remember when I last saw a 'main stream' kit such a 7 or a Quantum.
Caterhams are naturally more common in the South East; there are 7 that I know of in the very small town I live in. They are definitely the most common kit car around here, followed by Cobras.
This is a very quiet area for exotic cars, but over the Easter weekend I saw 6 Supercars and only 2 kitcars.
Well if you're in Sussex, and near-ish to Horsham, then Easter Weekend always hosts the "Piazza Italia" where they have a range of Italian classic, sports and supercars on display in the town centre. Could well be why you saw so many?

Plus the good weather we had helped of course

There's one of those in our work carpark, I can't quite make up my mind if I like it or if it's fugly. The fact it's a dull orange colour doesn't do it any favours thoguh

That's highly likely then. There was a Testarossa and a De Tomaso Pantera in addition to some more modern Ferraris, plus two McLarens, one of which turned out to be from the next village and was spotted twice more yesterday..

My mate's dad had one of the Pantera's on display (maroon coloured one) if you saw it. He's offered me a ride in it but I can't even fit in the passenger seat. Think they drove up from Ashington way into town

Or there's a white one that was around as well which is there every year.

You should come up next year. Good Friday and Easter Monday they have it on, different cars on each day

I like them, like I like the pre facelift Multipla and Nissan Cube; they are all slightly odd and different in a sea of relative boredom when it comes to many cars.

Oooo the Lamborghini Marzal cloud9

I did know that one existed... but forgot... because I was about 4 or 5 years old.

I remember asking adults what it was (my Matchbox toy version) and remember being told 'It's the same as your aunties car...' (which was a Capri) But I knew even then it wasnt!! - Never trust adults.

Just realised that! Doh.

After a quick look on Wiki the reason I thought it was produced in larger numbers was because both Dinky and Matchbox produced it as a regular model, although it looks like only one actual Marzal was ever made.
