Not sure whether I love or hate it:

So, yeah. Odd. Except it's 390bhp, V8 and got a retractable hard top roof... in short, it's a bit like fancying your cousin. Wrong, but very, very confusing.

I like that, they look pretty sweet with the roof down too-

Until yesterday I had no idea that Renault made what was effectively a Clio saloon which goes by the name of Thalia. A quick google did make me chuckle when I saw it!

Yep, it is indeed hideous and quite funny to look at.

0-60 in 5.5 and the standing quarter in 14.1 @ 100mph? Doesn't seem particularly slow to me.

That's the later ones with an LS2. The original ones were 7.7sec from a 5.3L 300bhp motor, that isn't that quick considering the engine size and weight of it.

Good job the one above is a later one then. Yeah. 5.5. That's Impreza slow.

I had one (blushes), but only for a short while. The 5.3 version that is. It was totally homoerotic, and the quality was so bad it basically was falling apart every time it moved. The interior was chinese-grade appalling. A car from a very very bad period in GM's history. I also had this bad boy - all the traits of the pickup, but without the V8. Don't know what was wrong with me.

There’s the Fiat Tempra turbo, sort of a saloon Tipo. I’d post a pic but I’ve had a software update and don’t know how to save pictures.

He means the old Tipo.
From the gopping Orion/Belmont era when they glued boots on hatchbacks and filled the joint.

That used to really annoy me back in the day. A car might be available as a 3dr hatch, 5dr hatch, 3dr estate, 5 dr estate, but the 4dr saloon was given a different name and treated as an entirely different model. WTF for ???

Dacia do this currently, for some reason the Sandero estate is called a Logan.
