How can they make a rear end that looks a lot worse than the earlier one above? It's like they got the rear window sourced and then struggled to work out how to fit the bodywork around it.

Regarding the wk american pickup thing - I walked past one of these parked up in the small town I live in about a month ago! I'll take a pic if I see it again.

I saw one of those maybe 10 years ago, either in Brugge or Amsterdam. Sounded lovely but when I looked into them back in Blighty they were surprisingly expensive at the time.

They are. But they were cheap when new. On the up side, there are more of them getting scrapped as time goes on!

I used to love this car. Grille is a touch Bugatti/ new BMW, years before their time.

I remember that from Top Trumps or maybe the Observer's Book of Automobiles (God I'm old). I had never realised they only built 7 though.
