The Caravelle was largely a badge engineering job for America. The Floride had a centre crown emblem at the front.
Based on the Dauphine which was a flop in the US, the Dauphines were all shipped back and the Caravelles that made it came back too.

I don't think they sell very many in the US, either!I think it's part of Kia's long term plan of moving upmarket, or at least strengthening the brand imagine
