This game has potential for perfect excuses for random drives, let's not cheat.

Not accusing anyone BTW.

I'd have been out clock-seeking if it weren't for Friday lunchtime beer requirement.

Car: Yep.
Clock: Well, time on my ipod showing, that is a clock, technically!

Bright city lights in background with a can of Birds Custard on top.

This needs to become epic.

Quietly awaiting the city lights and custard challenge to be completed as I am unable to complete it so.

Totally agree that it could be an epic thread in the making, just he everyone keeps the locations realistic.

I think all future locations should include custard.

Can I make a suggestion? Every photo must have a peice of paper, with a hand written time stamp on it.
Bit of a pain yes, but better than getting everyone just going through their old photos.

As someone who plays with a camera on a regular basis, and studied the subject for several years, might I suggest that the vast majority of people taking part won't be able to capture the time stamp and/or anything else in detail simultaneously. Especially those using phones.

Well in that case why don't we give guidance to the non-camera people? It's simple really, set the aperture to a higher number and that's it; and if your camera's not got an aperture priority mode then i would advise you to get a better camera or just use your phone instead. Hopefully that's good enough, so why can't we do it then? smile

What about something specific about every car in the thread. Such as the driver's window must be half open?

I'd imagine a lot will be done with a Point & Shoot or a phone, and I don't think many will buy a new camera just to learn to fiddle around and try to work it. Have you ever tried to take a picture of some writing on paper from any distance? It's not just a case of aperture and working lighting, sometimes you just can't see it.

We've been absolutely fine without so far, and it's just a bit of fun, so if it 'ain't broke, don't fix. smile
