I fancy a bit of fun, so heres the game, basicly have a location where you have to take a photo of your car, has to be for this game,

the 1st person to post there photo gets to pick the new location for other to go and take, more of a excuse to build the worlds largest MX5 and Bmw 330d with diffrent backdrops catalogue

ok then 1st location is going to be: Petrol station forecourt

Rules:

Has to be a photo taken specificly for the thead
NO Photoshop
A whole car has to be in the photo
Custard or an item for those who's custard has died a untimely death

Here is the link to the tracker http://tinyurl.com/cmbcqj3 Many thanks to RobGSR for such a good idea!

Thats what he wants you to do! He is a petrol company exec who after seeing the falling price of fuel invented this game to incrase sales and revenue! If you do the drive you will be helping him get his bonus this year!! biggrin

P.S Do it, could make a fun game this one.

Disclaimer some or none of what I have said above may or may not be true

What's more concerning here is that the OP seems to have made a special trip to a closed petrol station at half one in the morning just to take a virtually pitch black pic for this thread. Now that's dedication. laugh

Can old photos be used or do they have to be taken specifically for this thread? Thread won't be very interesting if old photos are allowed.

No, it's from July 2008 or earlier according to the photo data, hence my question above.

Regarding the photo. Yes I did a special trip just to take the photo.
I don't know why, but it was a laugh and I tend to do work in the early hours of the morning, it was a nice ten minute break from a stupid translation I'm doing for somebody.

Yes I had a long snooze this morning hehe

If I am not mistaken, that is Swithland reservoir, just past the Great Central railway bridge.

That road is not a bridge - it's more a causeway, or isthmus between the larger reservoir to the North, and the smaller body of water to the South.

But it has water each side I suppose, so would be bridge like to the casual observer.

You are right, It is Swithland. I crossed 3 bridges before getting there and that was the first opportunity to stop as the others were in Mountsorrel and very tight. But water flows beneath it wink

It looks like a bridge to me though.

Top work there Lund.
