Awesome, but, not as awesome as a Zonda 760. The Zonda has less weight, more power and a much better noise. The Huayra is a step backwards, in my opinion.

Hopefully, if this model is continuously enhanced and upgraded like the Zonda they will add a screamer pipe like the F40 in an attempt to make it sound a little more.. dramatic.

You have to tip your hat to a car that has clearly been crafted with passion beyond the cheque book. THIS is what car designers should aspire too and it really does make current Lambo's look like hyped up Audi's and Ferrari's like the bland poor relation.

Genuinely impressed by the detail.

It's definitely a grower this one. I made a thread a few months back pondering whether the lack of a traditional AMG soundtrack would hinder the car, but the whooshy turbo noise has really clicked for me now. I know some people will never be happy with the noise it makes, but if a screaming V12 engine note is their key criteria for choosing a supercar plenty of other manufacturers cater to that. I like the fact the Huayra sounds so different.

I also think it looks much nicer in red with a black interior than the champagne coloured car that went round the mags a year ago with that light brown / gold interior.

Silly question, but with the key you have to take the top off it (like a USB stick) in able to insert it. What happens to the top that you have removed?

anyone else get the impression that the first five minutes were a sort of cross between Micheal Palin travelogue and softcore porno? Great video though thumbup

I think I would probably prefer the zonda, but let's be honest, what I think doesn't matter as I don't have a million pounds smile

I think the word epic is over used on the internet. But that really is quite epic, everything a hyper car should be.

Absolutely. Very lucky to get to drive a car like that.
The closest I've come is a good look around a Zonda F. A sit in it, and wonder at the details both in, on, and and under the hood. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. Absolutely stunning cars.

yes I have to agree with you..

Horacio Pagani is a breath of fresh air in a time of bland, accountant driven, car designs.

Another excellent video, but one thing that you failed to mention was the bk fan in the seat, what was that about?
It's not a fan it's an alloy knob to adjust the seat.

I don't care if people like it, just wish the journalistic community wouldn't pretend that nothing other than a certain set of criteria will do until something comes along that pushes their buttons, then said criteria mysteriously disappears.
Perhaps the fact that it manages to get that sort of emotional response out of people despite not having those criteria is what makes it so great?

Mr Harris

That is the finest short car video you have ever done. And the best I have ever seen.

The car? In a word ( and it is an overused word, but entirely appropriate): Awesome.

Thank you.

That's almost too good.

Having driven Italian roads like that in a Tuscan I can only but imagine it in a car like that which btw is seriously awesome!
