I don't understand are you saying that if the car had less power it would some how be better? You do realise a lot of enthusiasts find power over steer to be a fun thing?

A more linear power delivery like the v12 in the Zonda would be a better engine. A lot of the most loved super car engines are normally aspirated, Lamborghini v12, macca f1 v12, etc.

And yet another of the most loved has a twin turbo (F40). Different engines for different people/ different times. I prefer the Zonda, but then again there is no point in making "another" Zonda.

If there is a lack of grip then just back off. It's surely better to have the option of being silly if you want - it's unlikely to be an everyday car so you'd want the option of having fun if you decide to.
