Trouble is if you drove one of those people would assume you're a knob with the branded anorack and baseball cap to match hehe

I like that foldable hard top. Now what McLaren should make is a THREE seater spider to differentiate themselves from just about all others.

Just doesn't do it for me for some reason - It saddens me, because this was going to be the only car I thought I'd want to replace my current toys. ( who am I kidding I couldn't afford it anyway )

I really think they need to calm down on the supposed F1 similarities, sounds desperate. Awesome car though.

The video is very well done but there is something of the Buzz Lightyear about this car. The Ferrari 458 Italia looks like it has been created by Mother Nature, this looks like it came from a toy factory. Technically, and statistically a fantastic car, though.

You're projecting your values onto other users. Believe it or not, some people aren't swayed by ignorant and jealous opinions; they're more interested in the car itself.

Stunning, I think I might just me amongst the converts from the 458 to the 12C after this. Certainly if I was getting either it'd be the spyder without a doubt. The 'disadvantages' of these cars with a folding hard top are infintismal these days.

Good work Ron thumbup

'Authentic Formula 1 feel' belongs on a strapline to a plastic gaming wheel.
Looks and sounds great, better than the coupe IMO.

eek I'm doing what?!? Projecting values on users? What are you on about man? I doing nothing of the sort I'm just taking the piss! I wouldn't expect anyone to be swayed by my views on Ferraris. And frankly why would I be jealous? I don't want one and I don't have room in the garage. It's just that most open top Ferraris I ever see are usually driven by fat balding blokes with baseball caps to keep the sun off their pate. Don't be offended if you've got one or perhaps just the anorak, some people like branded wear wink

Nice to see some positive comments on McLaren for once!!

This car has definitely got the "want one" factor!

Don't talk nonsense. A Ferrari 458 is lovely on the lanes of Italy or the harbour at Puerto Banus, but you look like a berk driving it around Swindon.

The McLaren doesn't try too hard. It is therefore cooler. wink

The video looked very CIG as if it was taken off GT5.

Lol, I do like the 12c spider too, if someone gave me one, I wouldn't complain, but the 458 is just so much prettier.
