Love the fact you're willing to take an 'educated' punt to own dream cars.
Ignoring the £40k deposit, £350 pm on finance is just hilariously little money to own something like this. I might opt out of my company car scheme
Will be very interested to hear what the running costs are like, particularly if you do run it more or less as a daily.
Beautiful car, good luck, and hope it doesn't bankrupt you so we can see what you go for next time. Living the dream

i can understand the maths behind the buying an appreciating car on finance, but one that's falling? Hmm
I understand the 'Male maths' he describes, buying this car, very well. Chris has almost described me when he talks about how he buys cars. My last purchase started a simply a drive out on a sunny day.I however make a loss each time! Do I care? Nope!if you can afford it, enjoy it!

You can't really ignore the £40K tho can you?? He's not buying it - he's just renting it for a while - the money discussed there is just offsetting it's depreciation.Man-maths is great fun but only when you have all the figures - end of the day that's a car which is frighteningly expensive to run but it looks lovely so we get all the benefit for none of the outlay - which is great!

It would seem the £350/month is to cover the depreciation (or part of it depending on how the prices go)Ignoring the £40k deposit, £350 pm on finance is just hilariously little money to own something like this. I might opt out of my company car scheme

Gorgeous - big fan of the 599 and looks purposeful in that colour (and I'm only a Ferrari fan when it comes to the 355 or 360CS).
£350/month really isn't much to get yourself into a car like this when you look at what it would get you on a new car. The small matter of £40k is harder but not outrageous!
