Hang on a sec...
So apparently iPlayer is cooler than GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL!?
I'm also rather baffled as to how anyone thinks that gormless, talentless, feckless arse-crease Plan B could be considered an expert in 'cool'.
Glastonbury is hardly a brand is it? I also think Glastonbury lost of any of is "coolness" if thats how they describe it when it became "trendy" to attend, like mostly any festival come to that! Mind you, if hanging around in a tent, totally out of your mind on whatever class a or b drug is considered cool, what do us piston heads know So apparently iPlayer is cooler than GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL!?

As far as I'm concerned, a brand can only be cool if it's so small and niche that it only exists well outside the mainstream, or it's now defunct. On that basis, only Niko in that list has the potential to be cool, and as I've no real inclination to Yahoo* them, I'll will just have to visualise them as the coolest producer of shot glasses in the world
So my list for cool brands would go as follows, and in no particular order:
Gü, Nakamichi, Oris, Moto Guzzi, Aston Martin c.1986, De Tomaso (until BMW buys it), Huf Haus, Leica, Kirin
BTW, I only own a product from one of these brands, and unfortunately it's not a V8 Vantage Zagato
* See what I did there, not going to use the G word anymore

Aston Martin not as cool as YouTube...
Thing is whilst something maybe cool owning it does not make you cool. Take an Aston owning friend of mine. He can recite all Star Trek films and episodes word for word and speaks Klingon.
That is not cool!
Daniel Craig would of course look cool getting out of a taxi. Christ he even looked cool in a Mondeo hire car!!
The more I hear the word "cool" the more crass it becomes.

YouTube? Google? Uh?
List assembled by 3000 monkeys + specially hand picked sponsors^H celebrities.
So lets ignore that list and make our own.
My #1 would be Breitling, #2 DARPA (they make cool things that fly and go bang!), #3 Ferrari.
I would re-adjust your number one matey, they are now not very reliable with their own new is it 'B01 movement' and they have had to reduce prices not so long back after increasing them way too much - believed their own PR!List assembled by 3000 monkeys + specially hand picked sponsors^H celebrities.

It's not possible to be "officially cool". Once something becomes "official", it can no longer be "cool".
This is true. Also once you care if you or it is cool. It's just not cool. The definition of cool is 'Kimi Raikonnen'. For obvious reasons. This is in no way official, and he or us should never mention it again. And besides who cares........see how cool am I.....oh wait!
