Speaking of Yetis - I know there were cheap lease deals available a while back... how does this compare? Seems uber cheapness?

Only the 110ps diesel but I doubt it matters too much for their designated purpose. I like them a lot but SWMBO hates the faux off road looks.
Yeah I kinda like them too. Whilst accepting that, much like a Qashqai, they are marketed to look a bit rugged when really they're just an MPV.

I actually view them as a more upmarket Berlingo with a more 'lifestyle' image rather than the utilitarian one that the French cars have. A useful thing to have as a part of a fleet though. especially if you have kids.

Covered equally by a 740 estate for the same price as the deposit.

Yeah I was toying with getting something like that when our bambino arrived - but common sense prevailed and I got a 530iT instead.

Or the 240 estate I've spent the last 4 days trying to convince myself I don't need.

I really really liked the Yeti I had for a week, probably the best of the hire cars I have had this year. Not quite enough to buy one though as dont think I am ready for a car quite so practical yet though.

(the worst was a 508 Estate with an automatic gearbox, spiteful machine!)

Yes, 3 months old now. She's awesome! Not a great deal of room in the back of the E39 to be fair. We have a Pebble on an Isofix base and it restricts the front seat to about half movement. Boot is perfect for all the associated gubbins mind.

My mother made do with a Mini Seven (the proper one) when my brother and I were kids.

Cousin of mine has got rid of his new 5dr Fiesta to be reaplced with a Kuga as they need the space for their forthcoming first child!?! They already have a Golf dr co. car and Alfa 156 S/W ffs.

The restricted movement will magically disappear when you can forward face her though, I'd have thought. We've got Britax stuff on the way, but it's all very much the same I suspect.

WRT to all the Gubbins, we're steadily losing our flat to it. smile
