I love the Blu Pozzi F40

I do like the Enzo also, it's one of those cars that I never day dream about, then I see one in the metal and start wishing my 6 numbers would come up...... I wonder how much Pininfarina would charge for a RHD conversion?

I really struggle to believe this car is 10 years old. It still looks like it rolled off the production line yesterday, the 458 looks more dated than this.

As awesome as this design is, I always felt that it didnt really feel like a Ferrari. The Ken Okuyma design feels much more like a modern NSX than a hyper Ferrari. Jason Castroita did a much better job with the P4/5 IMO. If you take the badges of this car, it will confuse alot f people whether it looks like a Prancing horse.
The Enzo rivals the NSX as the ugliest exotic of all time, imo.

At least the NSX looks like an honest mistake; The Enzo looks like it was made ugly on purpose.

Grey and black ones are very nice but I'd still rather an MC12 smile

I don't care for the F40 & think it looks very awkward bordering ugly indeed from some angles. I can appreciate the engineering that went into it, but then again a fair amount of engineering went into the Menai bridge & I wouldn't want to drive that either.
Kindly surrender your PH membership & man cards on your way out.

Very nice, I think that car now resides in the private collection of a large dealership? I think it's also the same car that Talacrest sold previously - when in was in Grey with a red stripe and had a leather interior with Testarossa seats!!!

I have to say though, when i was refereing to my wondering how much Pininfarina would charge for a RHD conversion. I was thinking about the Enzo.

I'm 39 & remember the F40 coming out & didn't like it then. Loved the 959 though!

I'm going to ruin this thread now with a blue chrome F40.

I do believe that photo was taken outside the Hermes store on the Nanjing Road in Shanghai

I had a good look around number '400' before it went up for auction at Ferrari in aid of the Tsunami, during a suppliers PODIO. To be honest, I'd never liked them; the noise yes, but I prefer the styling of the Maserati MC-12.

Probably one of my all time favourite cars. Just love the way the bonnet apes an F1 car.blah

When the 6 numbers come up an Enzo will be the first purchase. Followed by an F12 as a run-aroundlaugh. Only a Zonda comes remotely close IMHO.

I must say the Enzo has always been my least favorite Ferrari "F-Car", although saying that it's all relative as they all look pretty bloody fantastic!

I do think it has dated really well given that it's now over 10 years old. I think thats the first time I've seen a silver one and agree it looks great. In fact I actually prefer it to the Rosso Corsa, which is odd as I've always thought Ferraris should be red

Love the engineering, but until a visit to the museum in Maranello last year I never really clicked with the aesthetics, the angles seemed awkward and the front overhang excessive. But as someone posted earlier, in the carbon it just works. The F40 was and remains top of the lottery list, but I spent as much time inspecting the thing like a demented CSI as I did the '40. That and a 599xx which was possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen. Looked like a giant hotwheels toy biggrin.

I am saving my penny's for an Enzo but wont be selling my F40 to help pay for it. Hoping they take a dip in price with the new model coming, views on this anyone. I can see why some people are not sure of the F40 looks from some angles but drive it once and you will see past that for ever. Make's me smile everytime I drive it.

The honest truth is i would pick the F40 over an enzo ,

not sure if its the styling , my age (young when F40 was launched and my dream poster car) , or old fashion light weight simple engineering.

If i had enough money of course i would have both along with many other exotic supercars.

But i do have a much deeper love for the enzo after spending so much time with one, and the looks really did grow on me too .

I like this angle .

really shows of how far from a normal car it was when first launched.
