Eh, I've never driven anything that's actually fast. I sort of like the way my car has a nicely adequate amount of power for British roads - you aren't basically going everywhere at idle because you have so much power.

Citroen C1 1.0 3 pot and a VW Caddy 1.9SDI. Neither of them can do 100mph one does 0-60 in 14 seconds and the other in 20!

My answer, unsurprisingly is no!

It feels pretty fast, especially after driving about in a diesel landcruiser for a day or two. It's all relative; take the bike out for a spin and the TT feels a bit.. pedestrian.

S2000 - yes, it's fast. Not the fastest thing I've ever driven, but with the roof down at full chat, it feels bloody quick.

The CL420? No. It has a good turn of speed, but the only thing about it which is breathtakingly fast is the speed with which it empties the tank when you bury your right foot.

I'd consider both of my Alpinas to be reasonably fast.

Most passengers are easily terrified when pressing on so it depends how you use it, I guess.
Never judge performance on a passengers' reactions. They scare/shout/get sick far too easily biggrin

Golf R32, quickish I guess - i'm still driving everywhere in high gears as i'm enjoying having torque. My clio 197 before had none!

2010 BMW 730d (DMS may or may not have fiddled with it a bit; somewhere around 305 bhp).

It's fast enough and comfy enough for a daily smoker.

335d - not a fast car. quick enough but not actually "fast" in 2012
Seat Ibiza - yes definately a fast car. On the road, full throttle is a physically intimidating experience, even on track you have to force yourself to keep it floored on occasions.

Audi S4 Cab: Not really. It makes lots of nice "Grr / Roar / Rarr" noises, but it isn't really that quick

Land Rover S3: Not at all. Although, when it comes to trying to stop the thing, you'd not want I be going any more quickly!
