I'll be keeping an eye out for this book, I enjoyed his writings in Car magazine's 'Frontline' with Setright etc.
This book would take pride of place alongside Driving Ambition (another keeper)

Someone on here put one up for sale on eBay, I was the highest bidder but reaching £30 it didn't meet the reserve. Got in touch with him & a deal was done, just in time for Xmas!

Had another read last night & it really is good stuff, there just isn't much writing like that anymore
