I've never seen one, but I always thought a +500bhp Evo engine in a caterham might be fun. I suspect 4x4 may be essential!

What is the maddest engine that's gone into a Caterham/Caterhamesque vehicle?

Diddnt Caterham do a very strictly limited edition V8 model?
Seen a Dax Rush V8 before. Think its a fellow Scottish Pistonheader that owns it as im sure it had a smiley on the back. Was loud and looked awesome!

6.6 ltr Chevy into a Westfield. There was a Viper engine Locost that was being built, but the owner moved to America before it was finished. I don't know what happened to that.

207mph on a home made Viper Engined Bike

Alan Millyard has built a number of V8 and V12 engined bikes by joining 2x engines together. When his son saw a Viper engined Tommahawk bike he said 'dad you can do a better job than that'. Alan duely did so and Motor Cycle News did 207mph at Bruntingthorpe on it - WITHOUT A FAIRING!

Alan's a good friend of my brother-in-law and they've been all over Europe and America with Alan's various creations. I did hear that he was going to change the gearing and add a fairing to see if it would do 250mph, but i don't know if he ever did.
