This sign should be placed alongside the distance count down signs at every merge in turn in the UK, maybe, finally the sad cretinous little aholes that see it as 'their duty' as some sort of 'captain of the road' to prevent people using the filter lane and merge properly because they are 'queue jumpers'.

Curiously, it seems to work much better at roadworks on the rare occasions that L1 merges into L2, can't think why...

A few weeks ago I posted in the "Knob" thread about some plonker who gave me the full beam treatment when I used the left hand lane at a set of lights that merged up the road. The road markings are clear as day, two lanes to go straight on, merging into one.

There was still some idiot on here that decided I was definitely in the wrong, despite everyone explaining that he was wrong, and a poster even quoting a road planner from another thread! His thinking was clear - I was pushing in, no argument.

That's the mentality. People just don't get filter lanes.

Talking of mentality. I find that people are a lot more aggressive these days. I saw a Q7 tailgating a Golf last night so closely it was just ridiculous. This was on a 30mph road and the golf wasn't going slowly.
These aggressive people just see you as jumping ahead of the queue. That is the problem.

They obviously aren't going to un educate themselves, so that leaves me no alternative other than to buy this commuting vehicle

Judging by the scrapes and dents along the side of the Insignia in my video I really don't think it'd bother some people.
