This is a great point.

I put 70k miles on my e39 530i sport - I've had plenty of cars before and had a few since, but when I try to pick out my 'favourite' or best 'all-rounder' I'm always drawn back to my e39.

Not a perfect car by any means, but a bloody good one. I'm often drawn to the classifieds for another.
