I'm highly confused why so many of you in this thread have posted negative comments directed at Pistonheads.
I very much doubt any of you have directly paid for this article...
Keep up the good work Pistonheads - thank you for being here.
Most people don't subscribe to the maxim that just because something's free it doesn't need to be st.I very much doubt any of you have directly paid for this article...

I'm anti-hunting and don't like fishing but please people, think about what the game-keeper was actually doing. It was nothing worse (in fact considerably 'better') than taking an animal to slaughter. Game-keepers only kill animals that are potentially harmful to the herd (ill, injured, population control).
The car is fugly though.

I saw one of these the other day and they look fabulous in the flesh. Incredible presence. I like the way Ferrari described as a shooting brake. The type of buyer Ferrari have in mind would know exactly what they meant and it sets it apart from other more mundane vehicles. The article went to great lengths to show just how capable and practical the car is; far more intersting than taking it to Ikea and filling it up with flat pack furniture. That it is monstrously quick is obvious without having to be told. But as a practical GT for touring there really isnt anything else that comes close and that carries it off with such effortless panache.
If I was in the market I'd buy one in a flash - although quite what the ghillie would make of it turning up at the lodge for a few days stalking is anyones guess!
BTW whats all this "This." business?

This is a thread close to my heart.
Favourite book, childhood memories of a father balancing the hill farming books by marching Germans and Americans up Munros in the pissing rain in the hope of seeing a stag, whilst at the same time being the first Ferrari dealer in Scotland.
Happy days.

A very short man your father, even for a Scot. Favourite book, childhood memories of a father balancing the hill farming books by marching Germans and Americans up Munros in the pissing rain in the hope of seeing a stag, whilst at the same time being the first Ferrari dealer in Scotland.

Having lived in Australia for 14 years I have often had fond memories of the British sense of humour but obviously my memory must have been clouded by time. I cannot believe the narrow minded, humourless whingeing about this article. What is wrong with you people if all you can do is blast a journalist for a slightly different approach. Get a life!!
I own an FF with 500 miles on it, all put on by me. Come May, it'll be driving from London to Devon and Wales each weekend for salmon fishing. It'll make it to the river on my Tamar beats, lovely.
Super car, does everything you could hope for and more. Very much better in the metal than in pictures......and drives better than you could imagine, seriously. Previous two cars were 599 and 612....and the FF is so far ahead of both it's not funny.
