I went out with Mr Yu in his the other day.
Jesus Christ that car is quick, the acceleration is just relentless and the handling........
It certainly didn't feel bloated.
I have a new found respect for these things.
Last I heard on the GTR forum his car is now around 720bhp! Jesus Christ that car is quick, the acceleration is just relentless and the handling........

I notice Litchfield demo car is now cica 850hp... see link:

Dyno output shot included, and youtube vid of testing.
Dread to think how fast that is on the road, and how much it cost to upgrade/build!

Indeed. Mine is "only" a Stage 1 tune but when pushed it really thrills me, although I must add the GTR is the most expensive performance car I've owned thus far.Jesus Christ that car is quick, the acceleration is just relentless and the handling........

If you looking for solid performance the GTR is pretty amazing but if you intend on taking it to the local Country Club for Golf then things do get tricky...
I can fit a standard set of clubs in the boot fine. Larger ones are bit tricky to get in but I reckon still possible. DRS zone said:

You can fit golf clubs in the 370z which has one of the smallest boots I've ever seen with a whopping great strut brace in there at the back so I would imagine the GTR would manage it easy enoughswerni said:

The GT-R isn't my sort of car at all, but I can't really see how people can fail to be impressed by it.
It's biggest issue is that - it's BIGEvery time I see one I think they're getting bigger - they dwarf any other sports car, they make pre F10 5 Series look compact, they're almost as tall as a Focus/Countryman.
That's my only real issue with them - they are in no way aesthetically pleasing when you see one in real life - it's the opposite of the Veyron which is far, far smaller than you imagine when you see one.
I think the GTR is one of those cars which every car enthusiast needs to have either owned or at least driven properly.
I suspect it is one of those cars where it is impossible to have an opinion until you have actually tried it.
It was, and remains , a game changer.
We may be getting familiar with the GTR, getting used to having it around, but we should never underestimate it.
