I've always admired the Rover 75, they weren't very expensive new but I see hundreds over the course of week commuting so they must be a pretty well built considering they went out of production 12 years ago.

The 75 is a bit like Aldi, they took the interior look and feel of Bentley and Jaguar. The wood trim, the dash layout, the dials, piped seats etc and made them the similar for about a 50p. Is it a Jag or Bentley? No, but it does the same thing and looks decent.
Funny you say that.

Had one as a loan car when my Rover 800 was being serviced just after they came out .

I remember my then boss coming into the office and asking who owned the Jaguar S type in the car park because it was on the list for his next company car, and he would like to have a look at it!!!

Does look like The Bentley Arnage from some angles too.

I think estate version would be an ideal shed for the winter months, diesel of course.

I know, even the xs versions of the 306 are overpriced now though, not just the gti6.

Talking of 75s...
I bought this ZT-T 190 for £311 from eBay

positives: Clean MOT. Well loved by someone mechanically minded. New brakes and Pirellis on the front with lots of tread. Great handling. 100k miles.

negatives: Saggy headlining. Torn driver's seat bolster. Somebody smashed my rear quarter window the day after I bought it. My feet are too large for the footwell and I don't have massive feet...

I'd like to second that they're massively undervalued. I watched similar ones go for £400 the same week

These look crazy cheap, and if you can look past the MG badges they look pretty good.

They quick?

Any big issues to worry about?

Depends which model.
The diesels are the bmw unit and are chain driven and seem to go for ever.
The v6 are a little thirsty but sound good. There biggest expense are the belts at about £600 but if spending £500 i'd risk it and not bother
Most of the 1.8's have had the uprated gasket now so are unlikely to have many problems.
All the niggles are covered on the mg zt forums on the net plus facebook.
They have a few leaks around rear light seals but uprated seals have solved them.
As said before the early ones tend to be well made and the equal to most other cars.
I think they have aged really well

A leggy facelift 156 for £888, maybe worth a 'gamble' judging by the asking price. The seller is giving it the full sales patter

" first to see will fall in love and drive off with a super stylish Italian saloon - all the style of a Maserati at a fraction of the price!"

Now that Shed has moved to £1500 - is the next Volume of this going to do the same?
The 1-5 thread seems to have very little between £1k and £1.5k........

I’d almost argue the availability of finance on sheds means we should go the other way

I'm inclined to agree with this - there must be loads of ~ £500 bargains out there surely?

Wouldn't mind an opinion...

How would you guys value a 51 reg Ford Puma 1.7l, winter pack (e.g. a/c, heated front windscreen etc), 12 months MOT, 125k miles, 2 owners, FSH?

ETA: Few small bubbles of rust on rear wheel arches, but tiny compared to a lot of others I have seen!
