Little Thai - Hampstead - excellent Thai food, best Thai takeaway I have found in London. Thai spare ribs to die for.
Shahi Pakwaan - Highgate / Hampstead Garden Suburb. Lovely Indian takeaway, very reasonably priced.
Duck Duck Goose - Hampstead / Finchley Road. Very nice Cantonese food, best Chinese in the area.
Bang Bang Canteen - a collection of around 30 Asian outlets in a food court in Colindale. Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Japanese are main ones represented. Some excellent places here, reasonable prices and huge portions.

Peters Fish Bar, Ringstead, NN14 4DA - Cracking fish & chips. Massive chip portions, just get regular for 2 people.

Spice4U - Pickering - Really lovely Indian (with restaurant also). Varied menu and very good quality.
Richmond - Castle Fisheries - Best F&C in the area bar none. Generous portions cooked fresh to order.
Nottinghamshire
BJs ( Yes Really) Fish Bar, Burton Joyce, Fantastic Kebabs, make sure you're hungry. Not dared to attempt the £15 special yet.
2 Main Street - Radcliffe on Trent. Good Fish and Chips, Excellent Kebabs
Everest - Gateford Road, Worksop. Kebabs,Indian, Pizzas, Don't order delivery as they are so busy they can get stuff wrong and there are long waits. A victim of their own success. Collect and enjoy! Chicken Tikka Sandwich the star dish. ( On a naan)
Bamboo Garden - Southwell. Chinese takeaway with impatient man on phone, great food and super fast service. Collect and delight in the Authentic 70s Chinese takeaway decor.

Bodrum Kebab on Cowley Road should not be missed - unrivalled. Chicken donner wrap is sublime. Excellent chilli and garlic sauce.
Atalay's kebab van, Thame - Very well known in the area for its unbeatable kebabs and recently won an award for best kebab van in Britain, expensive but the meat is from a high quality local butcher. You will not find better
Banbury The Purple Mango - Curries to die off, their Murgh Mussolam is incredible.
