Sorry for the lack of regular updates at the moment, as you can imagine we are pretty much flat out until the car departs for Newquay (nominally 19th September at this point).

I'll get some snaps up later.

On second thoughts.....

I can't share as photobucket are now demanding a subscription to enable sharing.

Use thumbsnap or Imgur instead of Photobucket.
I saw the new photos the other day on Facebook, maybe it's an opportunity to get more people to follow it on there instead

Both fascinating and awesome at the same time. As an engineer these detailed pics are stunning. As a car nut it has unlimited amounts of 'want'.

I think we all owe you and the team a beer.

Everything about those pictures is breathtaking. I can't begin to imagine how it feels to start to see the physical results of so many years of hard work.

I think we're all to busy/tired to really appreciate it to be honest.

Has to be the most beautifully engineered LSR car ever built.

I'll be down in Newquay for the test runs so I've got my fingers crossed you get it finished.

Love it!

The brakes look pitiful for the size of the machine, but I guess they only have to stop it once during a run.

Keep going, we are all behind you.

That and the fact they don't actually do a lot of slowing down, the air brakes will do a lot more.

Can't imagine you can put too much torque in those disks anyway looking at the 'tyres'.

Not sure is sand or salt surfaces offer a lot of friction for big brakes but a Cornish airport runway probably offers a lot more and has less runoff area.

We only pull a max of around 0.6g decel on the wheel brakes on the runway.

Lovely pictures INSIGHT but wouldn't a couple of fag ends on the floor, an envelope with some scribbled calculations by the fin and a half drunk cup of tea in the cockpit look a little more, well, British? wink

Another milestone complete today.

The EJ200 is now fitted to the upper chassis.
