Looks suspiciously like residents taking the law into their own hands with car parking management, more than vehicles ignoring the cones.
Yep, we've got one of those around here. He puts cones out and puts stickers on cars that he doesn't recognise as residents. I'm thinking about stealing all his cones one night.

Some time ago on another thread, someone did just that, nicked the cones.

Pull your car foward by 3 feet and load up, it's not difficult!

Or nose in and put your shopping straight in the boot.

Or do what I do because I ALLWAYS reverse park, go the pick up point and meet the boss with the shopping. If your on your own, drive out, stop, load boot, return trolley, sorted.

Chance of holding someone up is minimal.

I have to say that I always reverse park everywhere, except for the supermarket. It makes absolute common sense to nose in in this situation. I've seen people who reverse park squeeze their trolley between cars so they can load their shopping into the boot, we all know how carefully people are with trolleys in supermarket car parks.

Chance of one of the posters here taking a photo whilst you return the trolley - highly likely! biggrin

Your right, but I am safe, I always shop with the boss, so use the pick up point, but when she asks why I get out of the car and check my parking, (when I have to back into a back to back space), I tell there may be a member of the PH bad parking thread lurking in the bushes with a camera biggrin

Yet another disillusioned PH member heading for the needlework thread.
You've obviously no chance of undertaking needlework as you're too busy wagging your finger at everyone who offends your sense of self righteousness and I'm pretty sure that's an awful lot of people.
GIVING them the finger more like.

Who cares about the Qashqai? Can't believe someone would bother to take a photo of that and moan about it online.

Similarly, the Audi 'parked' across two disabled spaces has someone in it. Could someone not have ran inside to grab something? If it's not actually inconveniencing anyone from what I can see...

If some of you are like this now, imagine what you'll be like when you're 70!
This thread and the numberplate thread are just full of people that obviously moan for a hobby. I wonder what they are like when a real problem appears in their obviously empty lives!
I think the correct perception is that if people park like that for no reason, other than laziness, then how bad are they going to get over time.

It's also pretty clear that some people get upset when everyone else shouts wker at something totally selfish they like to do as a default level.

Why do you visit it? Its far better than some ste which appeaes on some threads, mud slinging, arguing the toss, politcs, etc etc etc.

Personally I dont visit a lot of threads because I have no interest in them, but I dont bother slagging the contributors. Now if you respond to this then we will know you are a frequent visitor biggrin

If you must drive a BIG car, learn how to park it.

Reversed my Volvo, checked the front, decided it was sticking out so moved. I left a note on their screen about taking two spaces when one would do, and honest it was polite.

When you spotted that car why didnt you automatically choose another space? I guess you wouldnt be able to post this if you had.

I used to do that, even had a load of pre-printed, 'you park like a ' flyers in the glove box. But invariably they just ended up as litter, as the types that abandon their cars are also the type to scrunch up and throw away a flyer left under the wiper.

Deliberate parking to post the result? I suggest that Vipers has little enough time already without faffing over a space. ( Slow day was it?)

Absolutely wrong. As I drove down the line of cars I spotted an end space, reversed in to it, got out to check I wasn't in THEIR space, (with reversing sensors I know when I am close to the car behind me), then and only then saw how far they was into my space, and how far my front was sticking out too far for comfort.

Where I stood to take photo, there was a car in that space, so actually seeing the white line in front of the car in question wasn't available, as I finished parking, that car drove off.

Nice try though. biggrin
