Not gone through all the thread and I expect shouts of "repeat" but it's different!

Apart from that flipping roll bar. I know why it has to be so big but it just looks crap.

The VAG scene is effectively a cess-pit of name-brand splits / dish, air ride and cronyism. Being different would be making something that's actually useable + fast!
I think you'll find that a lot of the time, this cess pit of splits and air ride usually does equal something thats useable and fast still. The Lupo, whilst I can appreciate (maybe not the right word?) the work, I can't see why you'd do it. Basically making a car thats totally undriveable and I'm assuming quite a long way from being road legal? Don't understand why you'd build a car that you can't actually drive.

It has, but queue the 'it's different' / 'the owner is happy' / 'it's a showpiece' groupies.
I saw a video of this thing rolling around in a cul de sac a few months ago, it reminded me of those poor tortoises you see with lame back legs so they have wheels put on them.

Don't think this is true anymore really. I get invited to a load of shows and stuff that I thought were like that with my daft shonky track car. I do have BBS splits though! The "scene" or whatever is a lot more inclusive than I think it used to be
We've had this heap before, but it can now be yours for just £13K
