You're clearly making a lot of silly presumptions. This is a thread about badly modified cars, so I'm hardly going to post the stuff PHers agree with am I? My eyes are plenty open; some of my closest pals have old Golfs with 600+ and not a stretched tyre in sight, so I'm well aware of what other offerings are out there. Open your eyes an you will find many many VWs and other Vag cars that have been built with lightweight wheels, sticky rubber, adjustable suspension and pack some serious power but you'd have to know a bit about these things.

It's not hard to spot the scene kids and their cars though is it, just go to any event with more than a handful of cars - and it is easy to as you say 'take the mick' considering it is quite far removed from what Pistonheads (and myself) consider decent. Now scuttle away and find someone else to be wrong about.
