Not sure what the lump of steel on the steering wheel is all about, looks safe!

Christ that's bad.

To be fair some of his advert is accurate, it really is 'stunning'

I particularly like the 3 lions hologram sticker just in front of the rear wheels, I think Geoff Hurst had one of these in '66

It has, but queue the 'it's different' / 'the owner is happy' / 'it's a showpiece' groupies.

I saw a video of this thing rolling around in a cul de sac a few months ago, it reminded me of those poor tortoises you see with lame back legs so they have wheels put on them.

The VAG scene is effectively a cess-pit of name-brand splits / dish, air ride and cronyism. Being different would be making something that's actually useable + fast!
Do people realise there is a living to be made doing this.....???

Loving the "No2 + MX5 = Bye bye" tagline on the numberplate especially, because as it states in his ad "I DON'T BULLst".

You sure don't do you fella...

Side lights are from an early 70's GM- eldorado perhaps or Fleetwood Brougham, trunk is from an early 80's Seville, headlights are from early 80's Cutlass or Omega, perhaps Hurst Olds?

Headlights look like 6th-Gen Riviera lamps cut in half.

Not sure what the lump of steel on the steering wheel is all about, looks safe!

some friends and i went on a banger rally and amongst hundreds of ridiculous mods (one of the few scenarios where this is acceptable) secured from a Halfords trolley dash, something possessed me to get one of those things spinning handles that allows you to turn the steering wheel with one hand. I'd seen one like an 8-ball and thought it was cool. Figured when fitting it that for ease of turning left and right it would be best placed at 12 o'clock on the wheel. We only twigged after driving from manchester to Italy via Stelvio and were nearly the full way to Naples that perhaps the positioning was a bit unsafe, as it would be solely responsible for the driver's death, in even a minor shunt. So, I moved it, much to the amusement of the other car of lads with us. Whilst they were not around they received the customary rude word spray painted backwards onto their rear window and the empty can shoved into their exhaust pipe.

Another 'not sure whether it's good or bad' post (can we have a thread for 'not sure if good or bad'?)

It's for the Suzuki Twin Kei car in Japan, and it's just the front bumper. I suppose it depends on how much you like Pixar Cars films...

https://kotaku.com/pixars-cars-gets-real-and-freak...
For reference, this is a standard Suzuki Twin

You're clearly looking for these "scene" cars.

Open your eyes an you will find many many VWs and other Vag cars that have been built with lightweight wheels, sticky rubber, adjustable suspension and pack some serious power but you'd have to know a bit about these things.

Nevermind though, just keep finding cars with negative camber an wide wheels to take the mick out of if you find it easier & entertaining.
You're clearly making a lot of silly presumptions. This is a thread about badly modified cars, so I'm hardly going to post the stuff PHers agree with am I? My eyes are plenty open; some of my closest pals have old Golfs with 600+ and not a stretched tyre in sight, so I'm well aware of what other offerings are out there.

It's not hard to spot the scene kids and their cars though is it, just go to any event with more than a handful of cars - and it is easy to as you say 'take the mick' considering it is quite far removed from what Pistonheads (and myself) consider decent. Now scuttle away and find someone else to be wrong about.
