It'll be gone in no time what with it being in re-sale grey.

For that sort of money, I'd want not a bit of rust on it.

Hope this isn't a re post but how about this near 50k mile RS2 for 80k

http://www.bramley.com/carsales/details/Audi/RS2-A...
Note sure if a re-post, but been there for sale a while now

Leads me to the question - is anything much selling at the moment? Does that £80k RS2 mean others are actively trading for £50-60k?
Ha ha! Good old Bramley. Another from the 4 Star Classics and Hexagon Classics school of automotive bargains!
They have another £50k for an old e320 cab, looks lovely but the price is silly.

But they're based in a wealthy area and no doubt have clients with deep pockets.

A bunch of clowns around these days, trying to sell of anything as investment car or future classic ect, these dealers are taking the piss, a huge gap exists in Ferrari 355 prices, some going for anything up to 150,000 and all way down to 60,000

And why do you think that gap exists?

Do you think a 355 at £150k is comparable to a 355 at £60k?

Exactly... the "bnuch of clowns" are selling their £150K 1 owner 3,000 mile cars... where as the 9 owner 60,000 just sits there..!

The words Dove House can be accurately translated as avoid at all costs.

Took these a few weeks ago, as we stayed in Midhurst during the FoS and walking back to the hotel from the pub one evening, spotted this;

The garage was shut at the time, and it isn't listed on their website, so I have no idea if that window sticker is correct - I suspect it isn't as everything else on their site doesn't seem that badly priced...but if it really is up at 57k, I don't know what's so special about this one to value it so high, as most others on Car and Classic appear to be between 10 and 20k?!

And TBH, i'd want to avoid a car at that price that has had a re-paint. Begs the question of what it was like prior to painting? They are a 20k car, tops, not a penny more. I've had one and wouldn't pay any more than 20k for the best out there.

Maybe it's actually a great bargain at £570.00? smile

Could be that there were comparatively low numbers of the CE made for that edition? 11-20k worldwide depending on the year.

Crying out for this treatment!

It being £570 hadn't even entered my head... bit of a dangerous thought if it is!

That green one is lovely - Daytons (in a respectable size and finish) are just cloud9

Presumably these ultra high priced dealers are a workable business model? Otherwise they would all go bust...

So that makes me wonder who are the lunatics paying these prices? Do they have a big customer base or are they just sitting around waiting to cash in from 1 or 2 crazies every year... I mean their margins must be enormous.

I guess if the rest of their stock is around the hundreds to a few grand price, then it may actually be!

Imagine that coupe done, riding low and looking cool.... wink

Go to some of the auctions and you might meet some of the "crazies" - you will see quite a few cars going for prices that some people on here would be amazed at. Some people are happy ( and have got the money ) to pay what you or I might consider a crazy price for something, especially if it's i) rare, ii) excellent condition or both

Firstly this one is hilarious, it's an AMG GT granted but a special trim level does not make it worth that laugh

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

Next we have a car which didn't sell at £350k so they raised it to £450k. Then £650k. Now it's £694,950 and guess what it hasn't sold!
