Must be the 3 keys that really make it worth that amount.
It's a typo, £3785 on their website.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202205185...

£7k for a '09 swift
I get that it's low mileage, but who on earth would spend nearly £7k on a rather ordinary small hatchback as the swift that is already 14 years old.
There seems to be a handful of these (some as old as 2006) being priced for £5k upwards. I've no idea who would ever want to buy them.

Looks clean too.
Two for you:
I suspect this one is priced wrongly, unless they value the numberplate at £27k.

This one, I've posted before, but is back up for sale. I reckon judging by his other listings the seller is just nuts. Look at the rust on the rear wheel arch. My £2k 9-3 doesn't have that.

looking at his other items, that spanner wants £500 BIN for a secondhand jacket that can be found for $20 in the USA, or a similar one for £7 on vinted. What an absolute tool.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115728861831?mkcid=16&a...
As for the car, it's not only £16k overpriced, it is also a total and utter nail. I like how he backs everything up with "not a cheap job"...

Arnold clark valuation subject to inspection
As a private sale surely it's about £3,500 or maybe I'm just on another plant these days
I think it's the low~ish mileage which makes it worth more. But it shouldn't be worth quite that much more. Arnold clark valuation subject to inspection

I does look like a genuinely lovely example. A little sad that they've sunk £30k into it. If genuine and really restored that standard, I don't think £15k is that bad an asking price. The problem is WHY would you?Think he forgot to mention there must be £10k+ stashed in the car
It's not special enough to stick in a collection and if you use it, it will drop in value like a stone.
Unless you specifically want to daily that sort of car and don't mind paying a premium for such an excellent example, there isn't really a market for it.

You're looking for the one guy who had one back when they were new who wants to relive the nostalgia.
Not sure how you can call this one overpriced if he's really spent £30,000 on parts.
Mostly replacing things that didn't need it and would have outlasted the car, and afaict it's still got a 120k engine in it. Not sure how you can call this one overpriced if he's really spent £30,000 on parts.
It does sound like he enjoys the rebuild process, so fair play, but if you wanted it to be worth M3 money at 120k, you'd surely have been better off rebuilding the engine, addressing the underbody rust and skimping on the boot trim.
