Completely agree. There was a video of Redish doing a £15k underbody resto on a 330Ci, which seemed similarly nuts given the value of the car, although probably a better investment than this, but if you look at it as an expensive hobby that you get some of your money back on...why not? I'd still start with a 5-figure mileage manual myself.

Car worth £33,500 new, probably around £38,000 on the current market, has been modified with £12,000 worth of stuff and is now going for £60,000... presumably comes with £10,000 in the glove box.

Why do all that work on a brand new car? Surely you'd run it in first?

Is it really a private sale?

Litchfield don't do a 100bhp upgrade for the GR yaris, at least they don't have one on their website, but that's what the ad is saying (even though the invoice says nothing of the sort).
Basically, it's not a reliable advert.

Well, that's quite special.

Never mind the badly modified thread, that's a candidate for the inexplicably modified thread. Fruity sounding new engine...and loads of sound deadening so you can't hear it. Aggressive sporty bodykit...and the rest of it is still a Volvo.

I don't think the market for tarted up massive 16-year-old Volvo SUVs is that large, and I'm pretty confident it doesn't stretch to 25k.

F40 money for a Ford LTD Station Wagon Art Car

And just in case you don't know how negotiation works....

If you want, you can offer us more than the asked price. In fact this is art - and art is always priceless.

The finish level seems good, but the question remains why and I still don't like the end result. Very odd and definitely mentally priced.

In all seriousness I think whoever has gone to all the time, trouble and expense to do that to that particular car has to be suffering from some form of mental illness or be 'on the spectrum' to a certain degree.

It reminds me of some of the OAP Barryboys offerings.

Definitely driven by a complete tool. I like how he lists the many failed or consumable parts he had to change as “modifications”

Insane.

There is a 2015 car with less than 40k and a high spec for less than £1000 more.

Want to pay almost four times too much for a base spec tired looking Transit that looks like it's had a rear end bump at some point in its life?

First appeared on 13 Feb, but £400K niggled me as a wee bit ambitious…

Might have had something to do with seeing it sell on C/C 24 hours earlier…
