Too much !!! And CAPITAL LETTERS .

Immediately a put off. Never mind the price. First to see will buy was missing, and the director is probably the only person working there. It amazes me that people are actually still taken in by these too curlingly cringe adverts.

I half understand with the Escort as that is a rare car but the Fiesta is laughable. The MOT history has instances of failures and advisories on corrosion-not what I’d expect to see on a car that’s been carefully stored and used...

The Escort may be rare but that doesn't make it desirable. They were ste when they came out and even stter now.

I remember the Tv advert well 'I'm going to make you great again... the people want you back..'

Failed to deliver in my opinion.

They are desirable. Very rare and an RS, even though a ste one.

I might be wrong here but the GLE Coupe to me just seems massively overpriced. (Starts at £63k)

The interior just looks fairly basic and not sure what you get for that money tbh...
A friend just has just committed to spunk £40k on a two year lease for one of these.... he didn’t believe me that it was based on an 8 year old model and was about to be replaced. It’s also a diesel. And with all the expensive options it would cost him £68,000 to buy outright.
I tried to tell him buying a pre reg, demo or a year old model would make more financial sense but he claimed that leasing was the future and hence has now committed to a terrible deal (didn’t shop around, went straight to the local Merc dealer) to get a 2 year lease on a car he will not own.

What can i say?

Everytime I look at these old expensive cars (especially Sierra's), I just feel glad that I haven't paid a silly amount for one and left with trying to maintain it, within it's future value. Who actually buys these cars!

You could say: "Mate, I've got some magic beans you might be interested in buying" hehe

Collectors... who paid less than £10K for a low mileage Escort RS or Sierra 3Dr Cosworth many moons ago that's now worth many many times that... and laughing all the way to the bank...

Are they though?

They've had to store and maintain and polish and over restore them.

I could justify the £4k for an XR4x4 or the £15k for a Cossie, but not £10k for a dishwater Escort that would've been SOTW not too long ago, or a Fiesta that I could probably get on FB for £300.

Wouldn’t know if it’s overpriced but found this advert hilarious, he must have uploaded a family photo album by accident. Love the description, ‘any test welcome’

Is this car stolen then?

Almost incidental compared to potentially buying a car from a fat middle aged man in triple chav white smile.
